Eric Rosedale is a partner and co-chairman of Salans' Global Real Estate Group.

Eric is a leading expert in global emerging real estate markets with particular expertise in property and finance matters. He acts for institutional clients, including investment banks, opportunity funds, private equity players and capital providers. Eric has more than twenty years of experience in this field and has been involved with many of the largest and most complex property and finance transactions on the frontiers of the world's real estate markets.

Together with Evan Z. Lazar, Eric has built one of the largest cross border real estate teams among top international law firms, with nearly 230 specialists located in 20 offices. In Asia, the global real estate group includes a network of Salans offices and associations that stretch across China, Hong Kong, India and the Gulf.

Before joining Salans, Eric was Co-Chairman of the European Property and Finance Group at Weil Gotshal & Manges and a member of the international real estate team at Jones Day. Eric is widely acknowledged as one of the top attorneys in his field. Chambers Global noted that he has built an "enviable reputation" as "a seasoned lawyer with big transaction experience" and is praised by clients for being able to "stand back and look at the broader picture... he sees the changes and moves with them".

Eric's clients include GE, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, AIG Global Real Estate Fund and Heitman International. The regions in which Eric practices are among the most dynamic in the world, and he is one of only a handful of attorneys specialising in this area.
