Recent Experience:

  • Representing a major telecommunications client in a lawsuit concerning the applicability of the Thomson life decision in cases of conflicting uniform signs
  • Performing compliance due diligence regarding the use of data bases for a consultancy
  • Advising major clients from the luxury goods, sport, fashion, and telecommunication industries on registration strategies for trademarks and designs
  • Advising a client from the music industry on the securitisation of a large music portfolio in Germany
  • Advising major clients from the luxury goods, sport, fashion, and telecommunication industries on questions of anti-counterfeiting like border detention applications and proceedings, civil and criminal measures against the counterfeiters, etc.
  • Representing a major client from the sports industry in a lawsuit concerning inter alia questions of the calculation of damages based on lost profits and fictitious license fees in cases of trademark infringement
  • Advising a client from the automotive industry on trademark aspects of the acquisition of a major German and a major Swedish car manufacturer
