Sandra Hazan is a partner in Salans' Paris office and head of Salans' Global Tax Practice Group. Sandra practices French and international tax law. She is well versed in all issues concerning restructuring and tax planning and has broad experience assisting clients in tax audits and litigation. Sandra advises clients on tax issues in all areas of business and has developed specific expertise in the field of private equity, advising both investment funds and investors.

Sandra regularly publishes articles on tax innovations and actively participates in tax conferences.

Recent Experience:

  • Reorganising the operational activities of a luxury French group
  • Assisting with a tax audit on transfer pricing
  • Representing a client at France's Ministry of Finance in context of the European arbitration convention, with a view to eliminate double taxation on transfer pricing
  • Negotiating with France's Ministry of Finance on advance rulings and tax approvals
  • Implementing intra-group finance agreements
  • Adapting and implementing free share allocation plans and stock option plans
