Corporate & Tax Advice
An essential facility required by our clients is the advice and assistance we provide on the efficient structuring of ship-owning groups and others engaged in transportation by land and sea. We are able to leverage the skills and experience of over 300 corporate and tax lawyers worldwide to assist clients in this regard.
We are actively involved for owners and charterers in all the practical commercial aspects of ship-owning and operation, including acting for ship managers, providing day-to-day advice on charter party disputes (both for cargo and owners’ interests), and drafting agreements and charter parties in every day use in the shipping industry.
We are represented at the UK Chamber of Shipping through the global head of our Group acting as company secretary for a large shipping client group.
