Lawyers / Legal Staff

At Salans’ Kyiv office you will not only develop your technical legal skills, but you will also see how they fit into the overall commercial picture.  This helps us to develop lawyers who can find creative solutions to our clients’ legal needs. 

We seek candidates with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach, not only with strong academic abilities but also with the drive and character to adapt these as required in an international business setting.  Good communication and interpersonal skills are vital, including proficiency in one or more foreign languages.

Support Staff

Our requirements reflect the position offered; however our core principles of loyalty, responsibility, sound judgement and willingness to develop are always highly valued.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to any work involving client contact. Foreign language skills, in particular English, will be advantageous. 

Although vacancies for support staff are advertised periodically, we are always interested in outstanding candidates who can contribute to the firm’s growth and success.

Trainees / Interns

At Salans, we offer law students and trainees the opportunity to gain exposure to high quality work at both domestic and international levels.  You will also be given a high level of independence and responsibility to improve as a lawyer.

In addition to in-house training and supervision on  technical legal skills, the Kyiv office as a local office of a large multi-jurisdictional firm will enable you to develop your understanding of broader commercial issues. 

Along with strong academic abilities, we seek qualities in our candidates that will allow them to flourish in the firm.  Enthusiasm and motivation, loyalty and responsibility, as well as initiative and enterprise, are highly regarded.  In Salans, you will be involved frequently in cross border teamwork, so good communication and interpersonal skills are vital, including proficiency in one or more foreign languages.
