Richard Thomas is a partner in Salans' London office. He specialises in corporate & commercial law, including acquisitions and disposals of companies and businesses, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital, joint ventures and management buy-outs.

Acted for the Coca Cola Company in its acquisition of Nidan juices, one of Russia’s largest soft drink companies, from Lion Capital, a UK private equity fund

Acted for the shareholders of Medkom, one of Russia's largest distributors of medical hygiene products, in the staged sale for a confidential consideration of its business to SSL International, the owner of the "Durex" and "Scholl" brands

Acted for a special purpose subsidiary of Rompetrol Holdings in its EUR 50 million agreed take-over of Fabian Romania Limited, a property fund listed on AIM and the Bermuda Stock Exchange
