Jane Tarassova is a partner in Salans' Moscow office. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, joint venture work, issues of securities and public offerings.

Jane has extensive experience in local and complex cross-border projects in many sectors, particularly in chemical and oil & gas, automotive, energy and infrastructure.

Jane is a regular speaker at conferences on Russian law, notably on topics of investment, mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, M&A and legal regulation in the oil and gas industry.

  • Advising on the acquisition of a group of dairy plants in three CIS jurisdictions by a multinational French dairy manufacturer (over twelve plants in Russia, Moldova and Ukraine)
  • Advising on the acquisition of interest in an international internet search company
  • Advising on an acquisition via investment participation in a greenfield project (construction of insulation boards)
  • Assisting in connection with an investment in the restructuring of the operations of sea terminal facilities for offloading crude oil
  • Advising with regard to the acquisition of an aggregate production and a cement plant in Russia
  • Advising on the acquisition of an oil company in Komi Republic
