Timothy Stubbs is a partner in Salans' Moscow office and head of the Russian Banking and Finance department. Timothy concentrates on banking, corporate and commercial law, with particular emphasis on Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS. He frequently travels to St. Petersburg where he was based for 6½ years (1993-1999), during much of which period he acted as the office's Managing Partner.
He returned to the firm in January 2003 following a two-year working sabbatical at the Office of General Counsel (OGC) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London (2001-2002).
Tim has devoted the last 18 of his 24-year career to advising multinationals, IFIs and banks on Russian transactions of all types, including various secured loans.
Chambers Global, Legal 500 and European Legal Experts rank Tim as a recognised individual in Banking and Finance. Chambers Europe ranks Tim in Banking and Finance, PPP and Private Equity.
