John G. Speers

John G. Speers is a partner in Salans' Paris office.  He concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, and multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Following several years in New York, John has practiced in Paris since 1984, representing US, French and other multinational clients in connection with their acquisitions and investments, as well as the ongoing legal services needs of their subsidiaries, in France, Western and Eastern Europe, the CIS and beyond. He has particular experience in mobilising and coordinating multi-jurisdictional teams to achieve clients’ objectives.  He assists clients from a broad range of sectors including heavy industry, life sciences, energy, wine and spirits, consumer goods, and financial and information services.
