Holger Scheer is the managing partner of Salans' Frankfurt office. He concentrates on corporate finance and M&A, with a focus on private equity / leveraged buy-out transactions, multi-national restructurings and financing. Holger is one of the few German lawyers being admitted to practice law in Germany and in the State of New York, USA.

Holger is a frequently recommended lawyer in the German Corporate / Private Equity practice. He was listed by the renowned Magazine Wirtschaftswoche as one of the 25 most recommended M&A lawyers in Germany for 2010. Before joining Salans in 2008, Holger started his career at Clifford Chance and Aderhold Gassner, where he became partner in 2007.

  • Advising Gameforge Group, one of the world’s leading MMOG publishers, on various joint ventures and company foundations in the US, Europe and Asia
  • Advising a group of founders on the establishment of a multinational social & mobile gaming enterprise, including relevant international corporate, taxation and IP/data protection issues
  • Advising Bayern LB Private Equity on the structuring, financing and processing of an owners buy-out of RSA Group
