Rudi Leleu is the Director of International Trade in Salans’ Brussels office. During Rudi's stay in the European Commission’s DG Trade he concentrated on international trade defence instruments within the framework of WTO and EU trade law.
As a case handler for over ten years, Rudi gained invaluable practical experience in the areas of anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard measures. Within this context, he has dealt on many occasions with the special situation of non-market economy countries such as the P.R.C. and Vietnam. Rudi has represented clients in anti-dumping and anti-subsidy cases before the EU institutions and other major investigating authorities by assisting them in the preparation and defence of detailed replies to questionnaires, as well as injury and Community interest submissions.

Analysing and auditing the sales, financial and cost accounting data of hundreds of companies in more than 30 different countries

Representing clients in hearings before the European Commission and other investigating authorities during on-site verifications at their premises
