Javier Lasa is a partner in Salans' Madrid office. He concentrates on energy, infrastructure, hotels and public law. He also has wide experience advising companies investing in Equatorial Guinea.

  • Advising a German utility company on gas and electricity issues including TPA conflicts, regulatory issues, and corporate and commercial matters relating to the acquisition and sale of assets, as well as ongoing advice relating to their power plants in Spain
  • Advising a US oil company in Equatorial Guinea on corporate, labour and hydrocarbons law matters
  • Advising a major Spanish construction company on various infrastructure projects relating to motorways, ports and tunnels in Australia, Greece, Israel and Chile, as well as on a dispute relating to a construction contract in the UK
  • Advising the Spanish subsidiary of a European aircraft manufacturer on the UK Airtanker PPP project
  • Advising various regional authorities with respect to infrastructure projects
