Tatiana Kruse is a partner and head of the IP, Technology and Communications practice in Salans' London office. Tatiana has acted for parties in many jurisdictions in relation to all the main forms of IT contracts, including contracts for software licensing and development; source code escrow; outsourcing and facilities management; software, hardware, data distribution and supply; support and maintenance; consultancy, implementation and integration; disaster recovery; body shopping; hosting services; software-as-a-service and cloud-based services; e-commerce including portal, on-line supply of financial services, and web-site audits; and ITTs and teaming agreements.
She has particular expertise in data protection, including compliance, corporate policies and trouble-shooting. Tatiana also advises on the protection and exploitation of trade marks, copyright and other intellectual property.
Tatiana is experienced in advising on complex arrangements for the exploitation of IP and IT in joint ventures and on the IP and IT aspects of acquisitions and disposals of IT and other businesses, in particular long-term outsourcing contracts associated with disposals and where this is a significant commercial basis of the disposal.
In addition, she has a wealth of experience advising on all the main types of general commercial contracts, such as sale of goods, services supply, distribution and agency agreements, and manufacturing licences and agreements
She has a specific niche, practices in computer games (writing a regular column for Develop) and data processing contracts for e-money and other financial services businesses.
