Adam Jones

Adam Jones is an associate in Salans' London office.  He concentrates on international banking & finance transactions and also has experience of insolvency and restructuring under English law.  Adam has spent time on secondment in our Moscow office and also at a leading finance house in the UK.  

Recent Experience:

• Acting for a major global investment company on its USD 50 million facility to finance the acquisition of a Russian company
• Acting for a property investment company on its EUR 50 million acquisition of a shopping centre in Poland
• Representing the finance arm of a major automotive retailer on a multi-currency receivables purchase facility
• Acting for a major international bank in drafting a suite of standard form documents for a commercial mortgage portfolio (including a syndicated loan agreement, bilateral loan agreement and various security documents)
• Acting for the BVI issuer on the issue, and subsequent Luxembourg Stock Exchange listing, of USD 300 million of senior secured notes
• Acting for a UK turnaround fund on the purchase of the business and certain assets of a major UK retailer
• Acting for administrators on a range of business and asset sales, including that of a premier UK home furnishings retailer
• Undertaking security reviews for a major UK bank in relation to non-performing commercial customers and advising on enforcement issues
