Jean-Marc Grosperrin is a partner in Salans' Paris office. He is primarily involved in French or cross-border acquisitions, private equity transactions and industrial M&A transactions, with a specific expertise in the healthcare sector (pharmacy, cosmetics, medical devices, biotechnology) and advising major international pharmaceutical groups on a regular basis.  In addition to advising French and foreign companies on their acquisitions or divestitures in France and abroad, Jean-Marc also represents investment funds and managers in leveraged transactions.

Recent Experience:

  • Advising a US pharmaceutical group specialised in feminine health and skin care, on all French aspects of the acquisition of a worldwide ethical pharmaceuticals division
  • Advising a leading pharmaceutical group on the French legal aspects of a joint-venture with another leading pharmaceutical group
  • Advising a major clothing retailer, part of a multinational group in the acquisition of a fashion company from a private equity player
  • Advising a leader in innovative communications test and measurement solutions in the transfer of its complete activities concerning optical products for laboratories to a manufacturer of fiber optic
  • Advising an investment fund on its LBO acquisition of one of the leading pipes providers on the French market
  • Advising a leading pharmaceutical group on the French legal aspects with respect to the integration of another pharmaceutical group
  • Advising a biotechnology company in the purchase of a US-based company specialising in the development, manufacture and commercialisation of electroporation technology and equipment
  • Advising the shareholders of one of the leading organiser of live shows in connection with the sale of their company to one of the largest business groups in the records industry
  • Advising an investment fund on its contemplated LBO acquisition from one of the leading providers of plants surface treatments
  • Advising the management of one of the largest water provider on the French market, as the target of the LBO acquisition by a public group serving the general interest and economic development and a French company specialised in environment from a leading private equity firm in Europe
  • Advising several laboratories, chemical and pharmaceutical companies regarding manufacturing and licence agreements
