Jamie Feldman is an associate in Salans’ London office. He specialises in employment law and was admitted to the roll in 2011. Jamie advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious aspects of employment law and has been involved in bringing and defending claims in the employment tribunals and High Court. Jamie’s work also includes reviewing and drafting employment contracts and related documents, and advising employers and employees on negotiating severance terms and compromise agreements.

Recent Experience:

  • Advising an inter-dealer brokerage firm in respect of an employee dispute about the territorial jurisdiction of Equality Act 2010.
  • Advising on and assisting co-ordination of a global contract review across 27 jurisdictions.
  • Supporting the Salans team in a high value High Court litigation claim for breach of contract for loss of profits and for wasted expenditure and fraudulent misrepresentation. 
  • Conducting a full UK contract review for one of the leading financial service providers in Russia. 
  • Providing commercial and legal advice on the obligations to inform and consult under TUPE. 
  • Advising a former Managing Director in respect of his suspension and eventual dismissal from a worldwide restaurant chain.
  • Advising a part-time teacher in her claim against a Local Authority in respect of “rolled-up” holiday pay.
