Cristina is managing counsel in Salans' Bucharest office. She has extensive experience in corporate and M&A work (including structuring a variety of joint ventures, greenfield projects, reorganisation and restructuring matters, as well as competition/antitrust and employment issues). She has assisted clients from various industries including retail, IT, logistics, real estate, advertising, printing, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, the steel industry, and private equity. Over the years, Cristina has worked for and developed strong abilities in dealing with German investors - ranging from entrepreneurs or small family-run businesses to large multinational companies. Cristina is actively involved in CSR activities and has authored several publications and articles. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars in Romania and abroad.

  • Advising in several complex M&A transactions including private transactions, such as share deals, asset deals, structuring various joint ventures, focusing on entrepreneurs and private equity funds as well as advising on public transactions such as public takeovers or squeeze-out operations

  • Advising in several commercial transactions such as structuring and negotiation of franchises, distribution, agent and logistics agreements
