Howard Cohen is a partner within the banking & finance department specialising in asset finance and leasing (notably consumer credit law) and retail banking. From 2005 to 2011 he was the London office managing partner.
Howard is recognised as a leader in consumer finance in the 2011 edition of legal directory Chambers UK, which notes that "He operates at a very high level and manages client relationships very well."
He advises finance houses, leasing companies and banks on all aspects of their activities, including procedures, documentation and marketing. Howard has particular expertise in motor vehicle financing, having spent three years on secondment in the legal department of a leading motor manufacturer's captive finance company. Howard also lectures on consumer credit law and related issues.
