Marcell S. Clark is a partner and leader of the Banking and Finance team in Hungary and co-chairman of the Real Estate Finance team of the firm's Global Real Estate Group. Marcell has over 15 years experience in cross-border transactions and is active on major real estate finance transactions and restructurings throughout the CEE as well as Turkey, Russia and Ukraine and represents some of the largest lenders and borrowers in the region in their construction and permanent loans.
In addition to his law firm experience at Salans and Jones Day, New York, Marcell was Associate General Counsel at TIAA, one of the largest American pension funds. As in-house advisor to the international and domestic real estate investment and finance teams, he gained special insight on how best to support his clients today.
Chambers Global rates Marcell as Band 3. He is described by clients as "a delight to work with". Clients value his "pragmatic negotiating skills - he is efficient, responsive and commercial in his advice".
