Kristina  Beirne

Kristina E. Beirne is counsel in Salans’ New York office. She specialises in advising clients in M&A, private equity and financing transactions, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions. Kristina also has considerable experience in selling and purchasing assets of companies in bankruptcy as well as general corporate restructuring issues.

Before joining Salans, Kristina was associate general counsel at a (dual) Nasdaq and Frankfurt Stock Exchange-listed biotechnology company where she held primary responsibilities for all M&A and financing activities as well as for compliance with US securities laws (as applicable to foreign private issuers). Prior to that she worked at an international law firm in New York in the areas of M&A, restructuring, private equity, and securities law.

As a member of Salans’ German desk in New York and a native German speaker, Kristina uses her broad cross-border expertise to advise German and other international clients in a broad range of corporate law matters.
