Oleg V. Afanasiev, Of Counsel in Salans' Moscow office, joined the firm in 1996. Oleg has experience advising on corporate, real estate and employment regulations. He assists on various types of legal due diligence reviews involving industrial enterprises, trade and office facilities, as well as land parcels prior to their development. His work includes the preparation of various forms of transaction documents (sales, leases, services and others) and analysis of various specific corporate, real estate, employment and regulatory issues.

• Advising a foreign investor on corporate, real estate and regulatory issues in connection with the acquisition of a food manufacturer in Voronezh
• Advising a foreign investor on the acquisition of 50% of a duty free trade company in Moscow
• Advising a foreign top manager on his conclusion of an employment contract with a Russian mobile operator
• Providing advice and assistance to Russian and foreign companies effecting changes to their general directors and heads of representative offices
• Advising foreign investors on land law issues surrounding the acquisition of land parcels for the construction of industrial and trade facilities
