Salans, with over 140 lawyers across Moscow and St. Petersburg, has marked the New Year and Christmas celebrations in Russia with a donation of furniture, PCs and computer monitors to SOS Children’s Village based in Tomilino, in the Moscow region.
SOS Children’s Villages is an organisation committed to supporting and developing orphaned and abandoned children deprived of parental care in a family-focused way. The Village in Tomilino has 11 family houses which accommodate 75 children. With villages around Russia, SOS Children’s Villages is a member of the international charitable organisation SOS Kinderdorf International, helping children across 1807 facilities in 132 countries around the world.
Managing Partner of the Moscow office, Mathieu Fabre-Magnan, commented, "I am pleased that Salans has once again supported SOS Children’s Villages. We are proud to be part of a project which ensures that children affected by circumstances beyond their control continue to have access to education and other opportunities as part of a cohesive social infrastructure."
Salans also supports UNICEF and the Red Cross in Russia as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.
