Paris Partner Pascal Chadenet participated in a debate entitled "English Law Debate" sponsored by The Times on 13 October, 2009.
The debate centred around the pros and cons of modernising English legal language and the related complexity of English law. Several important British personalities participated in the debate, including judges Lord Justice Jacob and Stephen Gerlis, and Professor Susan Nash. Anne Atkins, writer and broadcaster, and Shaun Ley, star reporter for Radio 4, were among the prestigious media audience.
