Francis Crédot is joining the Banking & Finance Group of Salans' Paris Office as Senior Counsel.
Previously Francis Crédot was the Legal Counsel and Compliance Director of the Banque Populaire group and a member of the General Management Committee of Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires. He joined the Chambre Syndicale des Banques Populaires in 1989, where he was named head of the legal department (1980), Assistant Director (1985), Director of Legal, Tax and Bank Regulatory Affairs and Member of the Management Committee (1987), Central Director (1999) and Member of the General Management Committee of Banque Fédérale (2001).
Previously Associate Professor at the University Paris XI, Francis is the co-author of the “Banking Technique Chronicles” in La revue de droit bancaire et financier and Honorary President of the ANJB (National Association of In-House Bank Lawyers).
His particular area of practice will be bank litigation.
