Salans Advises CAMEC on its £584m Recommended Takeover Offer by ENRC

Salans has advised Central African Mining & Exploration Company Plc (‘CAMEC’), the AIM-listed African focused emerging diversified producer, in connection with its recommended takeover offer by Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (‘ENRC’) for £584 million which was announced on 18 September 2009. ENRC is a Londonlisted Kazakh mining group.

The Salans team was led by corporate partner, Philip Enoch, with assistance from partners Caroline Havers and Peter Hughes, as well as associates Laura Chandler, Angela Mount and Chris O'Connor. Herbert Smith acted for ENRC.
