Salans has won another counsel for the Frankfurt office. As of October 1, Dr. Volker Junghanns joined to the second German office of the international law firm.
The 40-year-old lawyer mainly focuses on Private Equity, especially on Leveraged Buy-Outs and Real Estate Private Equity, M&A and Corporate Finance.
Thus he strenghtens the Private Equity Practice of Salans led by partner Holger Scheer, which has been continually growing since the foundation of the Frankfurt office. With Salans partners Dr. Ivana Mikešić and Dr. Jörg Karenfort, Volker Junghanns shares a special expertise in the sectors of Renewable Energies and Multimedia. In the future, the sector focus shall play an even more important role, particularly with the regard to transactions.
Volker Junghanns started his legal career in 2001 with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. In 2005 he joined Lovells as senior associate in the Private-Equity team which jointly moved to Clifford Chance in 2006. Volker Junghanns held the position of counsel here.
Volker Junghanns is the second joiner for Salans within only two months. Only recently the law firm has won with Tobias von Gostomski an experienced expert in the area of Banking and acquisition finance for the Frankfurt office. “Through the current expansion of the Frankfurt office with experienced lawyers we gain the necessary capacities for high-level advisory services as we see the M&A sector already attracting“, says Salans Managing Partner Andreas Ziegenhagen.
Salans Frankfurt now counts 16 lawyers among them five partners. The main areas of advice include corporate law / M&A and Private Equity, restructuring, public law, tax and employment law as well as banking & capital markets litigation.
