International law firm Salans has strengthened their banking and finance practice with Tobias von Gostomski. As of September 1st, the 37-year-old lawyer joins the Frankfurt office as Counsel from Lovells.
Tobias von Gostomski brings along profound experience from both legal practice as a lawyers as well as inhouse counsel. Prior to joining Lovells in January 2007, he worked in the legal department of Commerzbank AG as an expert for syndicated financing and capital market products. As a lawyer he mainly focuses on acquisition finance, project and property finance, on syndicated loans as well as export finance. Tobias von Gostomski had started his professional career with Clifford Chance, where he worked in the banking and capital market group for four years.

Salans opened the Frankfurt office in July 2008. The team resident in the Pollux-building now counts 15 solicitors, among them five partners. The main areas of advice include corporate law / M&A and private equity, public law, labour law, tax, restructuring and litigation, here too with a main sector emphasis on banks.
