On 24 July 2009, Mrs. Valérie Pécresse, Minister of Higher Education and Research, signed a Partnership agreement with a Project Company set up by Bouygues Bâtiment Ile de France, Sodéarif, Exprimm (groupe Bouygues), SEIEF and Dexia to renovate and reconstruct the Clignancourt Centre of the University of Paris Sorbonne (Paris IV).
Phase 1 of the delivery is scheduled for end June 2011 and phase 2 for end March 2013. This 50 million euro project will have a constructible developed surface of 21,000 m², including the construction of teaching rooms, eight lecture halls, a library and a sports complex. This is the first PPP signed by the State for the construction of a University.
