Salans today announces the appointment of Krzysztof Sajewski as partner and head of the firm's
German team in Warsaw. Sajewski joins the firm from Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz.
Sajewski studied law at Vienna University (1993-1995) and Warsaw University (Master of Laws,
1999). He specialises in civil and commercial law, with extensive knowledge of M&A as well as
commercial real estate matters, notably greenfield projects. His experience also includes
litigation and participation in both court and arbitration proceedings.
"We wish to provide our clients with tailor-made services delivered by lawyers familiar with the
special nature of work with German companies," commented Sajewski. "The key issue is our intimate
knowledge of the markets where our German clients operate. Consequently, we make a point of
cooperating closely with our colleagues from the Berlin and Frankfurt offices as well as with all
German Desks operating across Salans."
Salans' German Desk in Warsaw consists of 17 lawyers who are well-acquainted with the language,
business and commercial customs of German-speaking countries and have significant know-how in key
areas of law for foreign investors in Poland.
With over 750 lawyers operating from 21 offices, a global footprint which combines key financial
centres alongside emerging market hubs, and a premier reputation across the CIS, CEE and Asia
regions, Salans is one of the few international law firms to be able to provide German language
legal advisory services in a local law context to German companies and their subsidiaries across
the globe.
