Salans Paris voted French law firm of the year at the PLC Law Firm Awards 2009

The Paris office of Salans has been voted "Law Firm of the Year: France" by in-house counsel at the PLC Law Firm Awards 2009. More than 5,500 French and international in-house counsel worldwide were invited by PLC Which Lawyer? to select the best French law firm.

Benoit Giraux, Managing Partner of Salans Paris stated, "Although this is the first time the Paris office has been awarded such a prize, it does highlight our growing visibility and presence. With this award, the excellent reputation of the firm and the trust of our clients have been confirmed. It also shows that awareness of the Paris office has progressed well over these last few years."

Voters were free to choose from the nominees suggested by the PLC Which lawyer? team or to forward their own proposition. The other nominated law firms for France were Clifford Chance, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Gide Loyrette Nouel, Latham & Watkins and Linklaters.
