Salans offices are either branches of Salans LLP or other entities affiliated with Salans LLP. "Salans" and "Salans Group" are not separate legal entities, but merely collective terms used to describe Salans LLP and its affiliated entities.

We use the term "Partner", on this website and generally, to refer to a member of Salans LLP, a member or partner of one of the other entities within the Salans Group, or a lawyer of equivalent status who has been designated a Partner.

Prior to 1 January 2009, Salans was a general partnership constituted under the laws of England and Wales. Some documents available through this website were produced prior to 1 January 2009. Nothing in those documents is to be taken to indicate that Salans LLP is an unlimited liability undertaking or general partnership.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

We have professional indemnity insurance arranged by Aon Limited, 8 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4PL .  The territorial coverage will extend to acts or omissions arising out of the Firm’s professional business wherever they occur.

Further Information and Complaints

If you have any comments or concerns about the services that we provide, we would like to discuss them with you and try to resolve them as soon as possible.  All requests for further information or any complaints should be addressed in the first instance with your Client Partner, failing which they should be addressed to the person managing the department or office concerned.  In the event of your not being satisfied by our response, you may bring the matter to the attention of the Legal Complaints Service in England and Wales.  Details of any other dispute resolution procedure applicable to an engagement will be contained in the relevant letter of engagement.
