Baku
Salans has been actively counseling major international and local companies, financial institutions and government entities on the legal aspects of investment, trade and finance in Azerbaijan since 1990. We opened the Salans Baku office in 1999, which to date remains one of the oldest and largest international law firms in Azerbaijan.
Our Approach
In our Baku office we combine detailed knowledge of Azerbaijan law and practice with the firm's experience elsewhere in the CIS in similar legal specialisations and industry groups. As a result, our lawyers in Baku work closely with lawyers in other offices of the firm on a client-by-client basis to deliver high-quality legal services that take advantage of the expertise of the entire firm.
Our Baku office currently consists of 11 lawyers, all of whom speak fluent English, Azerbaijani and/or Russian, plus professional legal support staff. Partners in our Paris, London, New York and Moscow offices with significant experience in the region support the office and clients, in particular for multi-jurisdictional projects.
