Retail Experience

• Advising Metro Cash & Carry regarding its start-up operations in Ukraine;
• Advising a French retail chain operator and commercial property owner, and providing legal support with regard to acquisition of a chain in hypermarkets;
• Assisting Delta Maxi, a leading Serbian retailer, in connection with legal due diligence;
• Providing advice under English and Ukrainian law to Anthousa Limited in connection with a joint venture project in Ukraine with French-based retailer Auchan for the purpose of opening a chain of hypermarkets;
• Advising Furshet, one of the largest retail chains in Ukraine, in connection with a USD 75 million loan covered by LPNs and secured loan from an international financial institution; and,
• Advising in connection with an equity investment in Euromart.
