Hospitality & Leisure
Our Hospitality & Leisure sector team is headed by Dan Larkin. We have a wide range of hospitality and leisure experience acquired within transactions of all sizes and degrees of complexity.
Hospitality and leisure issues most often require resources and local experience in many other areas of the law than that of core mainstream real estate. To meet the needs of our clients, we have built cross-disciplinary teams across borders, jurisdictions and practice areas. Our hospitality and leisure dedicated lawyers work closely with professionals within all Salans’ offices, in order to provide comprehensive and coordinated services to our clients in sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions.
We represent many of the largest and best-known property developers, real estate private equity funds and domestic and international hotel operators. Our services are based on a thorough understanding of our clients’ objectives in each particular type of hospitality transaction and our broad experience therein.
We regularly advise on hotel sales and acquisitions, management and franchise agreements, hotel leases, hotel financing, and tax structuring. In addition, Salans has developed an important employment practice in the hospitality industry sector. We now have 30 years of experience helping investors, owners or managers meet the challenges presented by frequent changes in complex laws and regulations governing employment and workplace conduct.
