• Advised in France and Spain the Austrian company Montanwerke Brixlegg, the minerals and metals division of the Austrian listed company A-TEC Industries, on the acquisition of the French Gindre Duchavany Group from the family owners and financial investors
• Counsel to a subsidiary of Bertelsmann AG, one of the European media leaders, in an ICC arbitration in France related to the termination of an IT project.
• Advised one of the major Swiss chocolate manufacturers on brand-related disputes in Poland
• Advised in Poland a German and Japanese joint venture automotive company in relation to a major greenfield project concerning the construction of an automotive manufacturing plant
• Advised in Russia a German real estate developer on the construction of the world's first warehouse of a leading German trade group outside of Germany, including the establishment of companies, acquisition of rights to a plot in the Moscow region, legal and tax structuring of construction projects, preparation of construction contracts.
• Advised the lenders UniCredit Bank Ltd., DEG – Deutsche Investitions-und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH and Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij Voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V. (FMO)) on a Euro 62,5m syndicated loan to PJSC Lutsk Automobile Plant (LuAZ) in Ukraine. This syndicated loan is among the first international term facilities which were extended for development of automobile industry of Ukraine.
• Advised GfK AG on several acquisitions in China an on the arrangement of these stakes.
• Advising E.ON AG on the disposal of stakes in Energetika Malenovice, a Czech electricity company, to E.ON Energie, as well as on the spin-off of Energetika Malenovice assets and their merger with the company Teplárna Otrokovice.
