Representative Renewable Energy Experience

• Advising a French engineering and construction company on a EUR 346 million product for the design, construction and operation of a state-of-the-art waste-to-energy plant in Azerbaijan;
• Acting as counsel to various investors in relation to solar panel production facilities and wind farms in France;
• Advising an investment fund in connection with the sale of a 600 MW wind energy project in Romania to the largest Czech-based utility company;
• Advising a power generator, a subsidiary of a major European energy company, having a biomass co-firing installation, on regulations concerning renewable and cogenerated energy in Poland;
• Advising an electricity trading company, a subsidiary of a major European energy company, on regulatory issues related to the qualification of co-generated energy generated with renewable fuels;
• Advising on the acquisition of six wind farms in Portugal (38.2 MW of installed capacity);
• Advising a leading Japanese fund active in the development of wind farm projects on all contractual and regulatory aspects of four developments with over 400 MW of installed capacity; and,
• Representing a subsidiary of a leading German energy company, active in the production and promotion of renewable energy, on public procurement and public law issues.
