At Salans we offer entry-level and qualified lawyers the opportunity to work in both a strong local law practice as well as the opportunity to gain exposure to cross border work. This enables us to provide graduate-level entrants and qualified lawyers exposure to work for high profile domestic clients and large international companies alike. Lawyers / Legal Staff

The energy and enthusiasm of our lawyers is fuelled by the speed of market changes facing our clients. The skill and foresight of our internationally and Chinese-qualified lawyers helps organisations navigate this rapidly developing market. Our lawyers in Beijing work closely with our offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong to serve the growing demands and challenges that face our clients in China and other Asian markets.

Applicants Must Be

  • Qualified Chinese lawyers with PRC bar admission;
  • In possession of strong drafting skills; and,
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Support Staff

We have vacancies in our business support teams from time to time and seek individuals with related work experience who are interested in working with Salans.

At Salans we have an excellent reputation in the practice of law but this reputation is in no small part due to the outstanding support and contribution of our business support professionals.

Applicants Must Have

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese;
  • Knowledge of other languages will be advantageous;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team; and,
  • Computer skills.

Trainees / Interns

We offer a challenging, rewarding and professional training programme for talented law students. Our training and work experience operate for a minimum of three months on a full or part time basis and provide trainees with the opportunity to gain direct contact with our clients and exposure to practical application of the law.

Applicants should be graduate students at law schools and fluent in English and Mandarin.
